Gwinnett County should switch to a Pass/Fail system

Ivy League Schools such as Harvard, Columbia and Dartmouth colleges have started a pass/fail system. Now these colleges are doing better than many, why? Because they prioritize students by implementing the pass/fail system temporarily due to the coronavirus. Pass/Fail system is when, and I quote, “The definition of pass fail refers to a grading systemin which students receive wither a "pass" or "fail" grade. An example of a pass fail class is one where you either complete it properly and get credit or where you don't; but, either way, no grades are assigned.” By YourDictionary. Gwinnett County not approving of this subject is an insult to all their students and how our mental health is compromised. Digital Learning Day was meant to be helpful towards students but however it just harmed students by compiling much work in little time. The University of Georgia has already declined the pass/fail system and for that their students are suffering. Georgia’s education leaders are clear when they ignore their students and prioritize education over mental health. This shows no sympathy into those struggling and they’re undermining the grave situation of Coronavirus. Please sign the petition to help Gwinnett Schoolers implement the pass/fail system.
