We are concerned coaches, parents, players, friends, and associates of KSA (Kalonji Soccer Academy). KSA is an athletic organization that assists children (mostly refugee families) from Gwinnett and surrounding counties in achieving their dream to play soccer. In addition, KSA instills its players with confidence, discipline, pride, and teamwork. In the short time that KSA has been established, its teams have gone on to win State, Regional, and National titles.

The kids and coaches WORK HARD and the needs are many at KSA, especially in assisting disadvantaged children and their families. However, Gwinnett County leaders have continued to pull from KSA's limited resources by refusing to designate Atlanta Youth Soccer Foundation Inc (the non-profit that powers KSA) a YAA (Youth Athletic Association) and insisting they pay for the grounds they practice on.

Other athletic clubs in Gwinnett County enjoy YAA status and do not have to pay the exorbitant field rental fees that KSA is being charged by Gwinnett County leadership. All pleading by KSA's leadership has continued to fall on deaf ears and Gwinnett County Commissioners have refused us YAA status.
