Make a personal pledge to end plastic pollution in your world.

As individuals we can make a change.

After you use a single use plastic bag it then takes 1000 years to break down, filling our earth with harmful chemicals and killing our native wildlife.

Australians use 16 million plastic bags per day. An estimated 50 million of these a year end up in our waterways and ocean. By 2050 there will be more plastic bags in the water than there will be fish.

When shopping...
Brighten in our future by investing in reusable bags. A couple of dollars can save a turtle's life.
- Leave reusable bags in the car.
- Bring recyclable brown paper bags for fruits and vegetables when you go shopping.

Please sign this petition as an expression of your personal pledge to stop using plastic bags.
