From 2000 to the present day there have been 372 school shootings and 362 death due to the school shootings. That number is ridiculous I shouldn’t be afraid to go to school but I am because at any given moment some kid could walk in with a gun and nobody seems care. If you have a kid and are anti gun control how I don’t understand this could happen to your child and if it does I hope you know your vote against gun control contributed to that shooting. And for the people who say it's not the gun that's dangerous it's the shooter you are wrong because if you took that gun away from the shooting they are no longer a deadly threat! Guns can be a good way to protect yourself but the reason why is because they are so deadly a deadly weapon like a gun needs to be in the hands of a responsible person. We need mental health checks,  training on how to properly store, use, and handle a gun, people need to get a gun license, etc! That many schools shootings and deaths is not acceptable, and those numbers aren't even Including shootings outside of school!!! Please sign my petition and fight for gun control! Guns are dangerous weapons not toys
