Our fence on Vince rd has been hit 4 times in the last 6 months. Two of the collisions were drunk drivers and two were hit and runs. There is a sudden curve in the road at the beginning of our property and over the past 50 years there have been countless wrecks, one of them tragically ended in a fatality. Philip and the previous owners have tried numerous solutions over the years. After the wreck 2 months ago Philip installed multiple reflectors on the fence but on Memorial Day someone wrecked into it again. We live here with our three children, the youngest two witnessed the wreck on Monday. We also have two horses that graze in the field. The driver was essentially uninjured on Memorial Day despite a board going through their windshield. We are asking that the county install a short length of guardrail in the sudden curve to protect our family, property and drivers. Our fear is that someone will one day hit our home, or have to be airlifted off of the property again. Please consider signing our petition.
