This practice needs to be looked at and assessed on the quality it delivers to it's patients. What is the point of a doctor's surgery that you can't get an appointment at?

The reception staff do not answer the phone. You can be left waiting for half an hour even when you are the first in the queue. I have watched them just blatantly ignore the phone when it is ringing. They are not discreet either and even if you ask for some discretion I have known them to talk loudly about a patient's illness. They are rude and talk down to people. They do not care about personal circumstances and treat everybody like they are the same. 

It is so difficult to get an appointment and the telephone consultation triage method is a real waste of time. There have been times when the doctor calling has been baffled as to why a telephone consultation was booked when it was blatantly obvious that I would need to be seen to be diagnosed. This method should be looked at on an individual basis and if the reception staff could use a little common sense to decide when a telephone consultation would not be appropriate. 

There is a real lack of communication and care at this surgery and it urgently needs addressing.
