Bullying is one of the problems that each student encountered every school. It has a big effect and impact not physically but mentally and emotionally. Our group aim to support the anti-bullying act to give aid and brief information on the said harmful action. Our vision is to protect and promote children from bullying to be a role model and a voice to the deaf students for them to have expressed what they want to say. The very purpose of this petition is to help the student to be safe in an act of verbal bullying and to prevent mental and emotional ill.

 Since we live in a judge mental society there is a 90% that you can hurt the feeling of the people around you in just one hurtful word you utter without thinking. When the individual uses verbal language to embarrass, mock or insult another person, it is already an act of bullying specifically called verbal bullying. Unlike physical bullying, where the effects are obvious (bruises, scratches…..) verbal bullying is hard to see and stop. Different interest, habits, way of talking, dress style, even skin color were to prove in becoming a victim of verbal bullying. It often happen hat children who are excellent pupils, and who are very dedicated to school, are exposed to mockery and rejection by their peers. Sometimes children intentionally drop in school performance and start to get bad marks just to be accepted and become popular among their classmates. However, we should be aware that not all children react in the same way when they are exposed to mocking and name-calling. It would be best to stay indifferent, although sometimes it is hard to do so.

Children respond differently to verbal bullying some of the victims who have low self-esteem tend to withdraw and become depressed. The effects of this type of violence may lead to some cases like suicide. There also cases were children with special needs frequently experience rejection and mean things by their peers. Words can have tremendous power, greater than we could ever imagine. Mocking and taunting can instantly call all the ideas, wishes, and aspiration of the child who has no self-confidence. That’s why this campaign wan to at least lessen the cases of verbal bullying in the school.
