In this day and age students should be able to adhere to a uniform policy without being stripped of their individuality. We, the students want boys to be allowed to wear shorts, as we live in a very hot climate, simple earrings to be allowed (one earring in the lobe) and more leniency on facial hair and hair rules. So much time is spent punishing students for things that are natural or do not interfere with education. 

As we are aware that the schools image is important we are open to discussing and meeting at a middle ground on policies but strongly believe that this would reduce conflict and tension at school and also make it a much more positive experience for all. It would make life easier for teachers and students alike, but also show that the school is progressive and cares about students wellbeing and freedom of expression.
