We’re not allowed to wear these certain cloths because they’re “distracting” but to who and how? I highly doubt any boy is going to get an erection from seeing a shoulder or knee. If everyone is worried about the boys becoming “distracted” tell me how we see each other every day outside of school and nothing happens? Is it really other students that you all are worrying about? Another thing is these school policies that enforce the strict rules for what students should wear also violate students' freedom of speech. As the ACLU points out, a landmark case dating all the way back to 1969 actually upholds a students' right to freedom of speech through what a student chooses to wear. Instead of being so concerned on what we choose to wear our school should be more concerned about the teachers/subs that harass and make inappropriate remarks to the students.
