Actually, we live in doon south area of kitchener. Bus number 36 doesn’t operate on Saturday and Sunday (full day), so we have to walk almost 7-8 km to and from our residence. Also on week days, last bus we get at around 9:55 pm to reach home from conestoga college doon bus stand, but sometime if we miss last bus or we get late shift we have to walk 3 and half km which is not possible in winter. Moreover, i have met many student who are living in same area as mine and facing same the issue. Furthermore, our friends who are not living in our area but want to visit us for our study purpose on weekends, it becomes difficult for them to walk to our house because distance is around 3 and half km from conestoga bus stop. As winter is approaching it’s getting difficult to walk this much kilometres. And we are students so because of study sometime we have for part-time job on weekends. So, I request higher authorities to consider our complaint and extend the working hours as well as start service of route 36 on Saturday and Sunday (full day). It would be great for us if actions would be taken as soon as possible. Thank you.
