Groves has very recently blocked Spotify, which has caused distress to many students. 

We had already made another petition, but a specific teacher told us it needed to be more persuasive. 

So, here are the reasons as to why the school should unblock Spotify on the school WIFI:

1. Music that is soothing and relaxing can help students to beat stress or anxiety while studying.
2. Background music may improve focus on a task by providing motivation and improving mood. During long study sessions, music can aid endurance.
3. In some cases, students have found that music helps them with memorization, likely by creating a positive mood, which indirectly boosts memory formation.
4. If the class is loud and hard to concentrate you can turn on Spotify
5. Some students have premium specifically to listen to at school, and if it is blocked, they are spending money for nothing.
6. YouTube is extremely inconvenient when it comes to listening to music, due to the lack of AdBlock after the laptops updated, two ads play per music video.
