Group USA: Boys wear dresses too
Discrimination of any kind is not acceptable. It is important as a society that we move forward, not backwards.
- Director of Stores
To whom it may concern:
It has been brought to my attention an employee at the Group USA located in Tempe, Arizona moved a male customer from one dressing room to another because, "he could possibly offend other customers.”
This behavior by your employee is unacceptable. It is my hope that you will work with Christopher Hall, the customer offended by this action, to develop a solution that assures discriminatory treatment will not happen to him or any other customer shopping at one of your locations in the future.
It is important to know where your company stands on this issue. Does Group USA see this as appropriate behavior? It is hopeful that your corporate office will issue a policy statement in regards to the events that took place on Friday January 4th 2013.
