In 2016, France became the first Nation in the world to make a law against supermarkets wasting food/throwing it away. Large grocers are now required to donate unsold food to charities, feeding millions of those struggling to afford to eat every year. It's time for Canadians to take responsibility and make a change. Canada is among the worlds worst for wasting food however, tens of thousands of Canadian residents can't afford food.
