The Students of Grimsley High School agree that this year has been extremely difficult. Though accommodations have been made to help those who struggled in the first quarter, many of us do not feel like enough accommodations have been made to help us in the second. Many students, mainly the AP and Honors students, feel that the second quarter has been more difficult than the first with work load and weight of the length of this pandemic. Online learning has been compounding making the second quarter exponentially more difficult. We ask administration to allow the substitution of our second quarter grade with our first quarter grade if higher just as the 1st quarter grade is being substituted for the higher 2nd quarter grade for other students. We believe that this would be the best way to help all the students who truly tried but couldn't overcome the obstacles of Online learning.
