I wrote a letter to Greyhound asking about allowing a dog in a carrier to be able to travel as an emotional support pet. Here was their response:
Thank you for contacting our offices with your concerns.
Regarding to your question about our policies on animals. No dogs, cats, birds, or other animals will be transported. However, a service animal, trained for the purpose of accompanying a customer with a disability, will be permitted to travel at no additional charge. Emotional support animals are not considered service animals.

Correct me if I'm wrong but, since mental illness IS a disability, shouldn't emotional support pets be considered service animals as well? Why should those with anxiety and PTSD suffer just because of an ignorant rule? Please help me change this rule as I believe it is wrong and discriminatory.
