Recently, Melvindale Transportation has been shut down. This has left dozens of students with no way to get to school. This is a major problem, especially since ESL students are left wandering the mess. Teachers and staff are doing nothing to try and fix the problem and if nothing is done soon, this will go on for the rest of the year. They put them on virtual for a week as a way to "stop the spread of Covid" when that is not true. All of Wayne County is flooded with cases, yet they are one of the only ones that went online, coincidently after parents complained and children didn't go to school. Students have already lost a year of school due to a virus, and now they will lose the rest because the city can't get their act together? We need your help to get the mayor and superintendent to bring back the buses!
