In Michigan gun carries must be 18 + to open carry but you have to be 21+ to conceal carry but I feel along as we are law abiding citizen's we should be able to protect our self's we have to put our pistols in the truck at 18 but if something bad was to happen while we are out and the gun is way in the trunk how are we supposed to protect ourselves.

we cant it doesn't make sense to have a pistol in the trunk and cant have access to it unless we are open carrying it but life is unexpected so I feel as Michigan residents should be able to obtain a CPL (concealed pistol license) as long as they have a clean background take the class pay the money and are at least 18 years old.
