A family member needs PGD to ensure that HD is not passed on! Govt will save health service funds in the long run if PGD is funded!

The deciswion to terminate for any reason what ever is never taken lightly by those involved especially during the second trimester. Not only does medicare need to fund this procedure and all that is connected with it but more money needs to go into research.

I would like to have a grand baby that doesn’t carry their Dad’s MND gene into the future. I’m already stressed at the thought that my grandson has a 50/50 chance and I may loose my first grandson to this disease ⭐️
I would rather not have to find a fortune guarantee having grandchildren without MND.
It’s hard enough knowing my son in law carries the gene.

Technology is there to prevent the passing of genetic diseases to offspring. Crazy not to support this.

I’m signing because my son-in-law carries the MND gene and whilst I fully support my children, I’d rather that we all don’t have to work hard to pay huge amounts so that I can have healthy grandchildren.

This has directly affected my family and having the option to stop it carrying on genetically is a must
