The need to make a flu vacination mandatory for worker's involved in aged care is not necessary.  This includes cleaners, voluteers, contractors, anyone stepping foot in a facility. As an individual working in a residential environment I take my health very seriously and there are many reasons as too why people may not want to recieve this vaccine, religion, cultural or lifestyle choices such as living a vegan life. The queensland government need to recognize its an individual's right to choose to have a flu vaccination, not the government's. There are thousands of people serving food in hospitality that arent required to have one, it doesnt make sense. Please sign so the government allows there to be exemptions in queensland as it may cost myself and hundreds if not thousands of others to loose their jobs.
