April Fowler started this petition to Greg Hunt (Minister for Health) and

Help get Endometriosis, PCOS and Adenomyosis awareness into our high school level education system so our teens are going to know the signs, symptoms and the damage that Endometriosis can cause on the body and also to know what to look for in Endometriosis. Everyone in today's society will know someone that suffers with this debilitating disease whether it be a friend, family member or a work college this condition is absolutely debilitating and takes so much from ones everyday life. The statistics are mind blowing when you think of how common this condition is. Endometriosis affects 1 in 9 women and those assigned female at birth. It takes on average 6.5 years to be diagnosed with Endometriosis and can only be diagnosed via surgical intervention (took me 8 years to be diagnosed).

From this petition i really think that Endometriosis needs to be introduced into high schools as apart of health/sex education. Endometriosis does affect both of those categories. This being introduced into schools could easily bring down the numbers in early detection and awareness for our future generations to come which to me as Endometriosis sufferer is super super important for our future.

We deserve better. We deserve more and we deserve a CURE!

Do it for our future generations and early detection.
