We need the opportunity to vaccinate our children once vaccinations are approved.Covid Delta has changed the scene. It has higher transmissibility, leads to more hospital admissions, appears to affect younger age groups. Children are getting long covid and 1 in 10 are being hospitalised with the delta strain of covid. If 70% of the adult population is vaccinated and children are not, covid will transmit rapidly through the child population. Children have a right, including those under 12 to be vaccinated. Make vaccinations available for all as soon as they have been approved. Please sign if you support the right to choose whether your child is vaccinated. For parents with children who are particularly vulnerable due to underlying health conditions, this is is a terrifying situation. Once these vaccinations are approved, we need to make sure we have the vaccinations to provide.
