Install CCTV cameras in Atalanta street and Branksea street

We have been troubled for the past year or so by petty criminals targeting our lovely residential streets of Atalanta and Branksea. Their techniques have evolved from malicious car theft (on several occasions and when they could not steal the cars, they planted broken glass bottles on the driver's seat and a can of WD40 wedged under the brake peddle of our car) to knocking on our doors to sell overpriced household goods whilst checking if the houses are lived in or not and verbally abusing some of us in the process.
We believe the best way to prevent, monitor, and dissuade criminals from targeting our streets is to apply for CCTV cameras to be installed in Branksea and Atalanta street in order to not only deter but monitor and report crimes. The Fulham Police Station is supporting our initiative and wish there were more cameras in the borough to help them fight crime.
The cost of installing the cameras is minimal and would very promptly be made cost effective by the reduction of crime, attempted burglaries etc... in our neighbourhood so I believe the council and our MP should support our plea.
We look forward to hearing from you in due course.
