Greg Daniels is hosting a dinner featuring foie gras--grossly enlarged liver from force fed ducks--to protest the upcoming ban on this barbaric product of extreme animal cruelty. Foie gras production is so inhumane it has been banned in 15 countries and condemned by the prestigious Pew Commission on industrial farm animal production.

Stop supporting force feeding cruelty

Ducks raised for foie gras are force fed to the point where they are sick and dying. Their livers are over 10 times their normal size, and any chef can see that in the kitchen. Your claims that this somehow mimics any kind of a natural process is pure nonsense. Please educate yourself by watching the 3 minute video posted at, which shows what APRL investigators documented at your foie gras producer just a few months ago.

The conditions are just as bad as they were seven years ago when California first enacted its ban on foie gras, giving producers a chance to find a more humane method than force feeding. They didn't, and now it's time to stop serving this product of immense animal suffering.
