Texas Parent Collective is a group of parents organized to petition Texas Governor Greg Abbott and President Donald Trump to not gamble with our children’s lives. We, Texas Parents, demand the following:

1.  Keep Texas schools closed for the remainder of the COVID-19 pandemic or until every single eligible* student has been vaccinated by an FDA approved vaccine and immunization verification has been provided to the student’s school.

* ”Eligible” refers to those students who are healthy enough to receive a vaccine so as to provide “herd immunity” to those who are not able to be vaccinated.

2.  Remove standardized testing, including STAAR and/or its equivalents, until at least the children have returned for 1 complete academic year of acclamation and no sooner than the 2021-2022 school year.

3.  Provide adequate resources to children and teachers in order to make distance learning a success.
