Over 30-40% of Texans are or will be unemployed in the upcoming days and months. Hence, it is crucial for us to build the infrastructure needed to tackle this crisis.

What good is it to have a federal stimulus of $2.2 trillion if workers are left to fend for themselves? They tell us “just file online, it’s easy”, we do, and we get nowhere. They tell us to call, we do, and we get the same thing. I went online, nothing, and been calling 20x per day with no luck. This past Monday, I called 38x per hour for 6 hours and got nowhere. 

Working families need help and the time to act is now.
