Hi,

Some of you are convinced that COVID is a significant risk for children under 12 years old and others are not. As Abott said, it is a matter of responsibility and many of you have not been vaccinated. This is a free choice, I disagree with your assessment, but I respect it.

We want a practical solution to send our under 12 year old children to school safely. We propose that separate classes are held for students based on the parents willingly declaring that they are vaccinated. We have a child with asthma at elevated risk from COVID. We want our children to be in a different risk pool since we have accepted our risk and responsibilities and duties to protect others.

I personally ask you to sign this petition so that force Texas to create separate classrooms for our unvaccinated children.

Here is the essence of our proposal:

a) Parents willingly declare if they are vaccinated 

b) Interested parents declare if they want to have their children in the special classrooms where all guardians are vaccinated

c) If you don't want to declare that you are vaccinated then there is a classroom for you but different than b

This way we can have our under 12year old children safe
