My name is Latasha Whitehead. I’m writing again just the same as when it first started happening in 2017. I had to get in touch with the White House, just to have my story heard. Because I’m a low income African Jew woman here in this county they have allowed  him to abuse me and my children, (one whom is not related to them) his family abuse her the most. The same man who sexually prayed on me while I was a young child and got me pregnant has now been abusing my daughter. She comes back with handprints and black eyes, and this has been going on for years. I’ve kept every police report, hospital report, and reports I made out to Dori Mistic about the same abuse. From all the emails to pictures of the abuse, and she never once went to check on my children or to remove them. The lawyers and the judges will not attempt to do anything for me and my children in this county. Since 2017, I have been asking for help from multiple different agencies. From Greg Abbott to multiple news stations and I’ve begged the CPS to even go after the family who’s causing the abuse, but even that agency gets paid to ignore my outcry’s. I moved out of the county in 2020 and immediately asked for my case to be moved to a different county and for a new lawyer for my daughters, Dori bypassed the Motion of Venue to Transfer just to say she wanted to file a continuance. Now remind you, Dori never emails, never check on my children or anything. So I don’t get what the point was to file a order over mine when I’m just trying to bring to light what she’s allowing Thomas Pegues and his mother Karla Pegues, do to the children over in their home. I noticed my daughter had a deep scar over her shoulder when she came to visit last month. I of course saved and recorded for my records, my daughter mentioned how Thomas Pegues got mad at her and did it, by pushing her into a fence. Thomas and his family is not related to Sa’Journi Bryant (my 4 year old), Dori just placed my daughter there because at the time I only had the two kids and it made her job easier placing the siblings together(Doris Words). I made a report of the abuse to Doris office as I always do, when the child is returned to be with bumps and bruises. After getting proof after this last report against Thomas and his family, my daughters aren’t allowed to contact me anymore. They just stopped me from all contact with my children, right before Mother’s Day Weekend. And I still have not seen my children yet. I don’t know if my babies are even alive at this point. From the corrupt lawyers to the corrupt Ad Litem. Dori and her office have still yet to ever respond to me, she takes baby steps when it comes to protecting children and it’s not healthy or safe. I’m suing the state and many more people about what’s happening. I’m trying to bring this case to light. It’s been going on dor half a decade now, and my children are still over at the home hurting that they were placed in . It’s 2021, and my daughters are still in the same home getting abused till this day. I have two other children, whom never been hurt or go through anything that their siblings are going through. My other two babies are only safe because they live under my roof, and are safe and free of any harm. Which makes me have a total of four children. The two children Dori placed with Thomas and Karla, have multiple health problems and other problems that has concerned me for years, but I was pushed to the back and ignored. Dori has only wanted to meet once and has been on this case since 2017. Many people in Coryell county speaks of how her timing and functioning is when handling cases of abuse, she has no energy to go find out what the children are actually being exposed to. I have all the proof I need to bring justice to that town. Now at this time, officers and CPS workers have multiple reports and have been contacted on how Thomas is keeping the children away from me and how he has a case built up against him and his family. Not a single person has told him to keep the kids away from me. He just does this every time he gets mad. He only does what Dori and her firm is allowing him to do. Now the police and Cps workers have talked and said, they never gave him permission to keep the girl’s away from me. Dori has not reached out to me or told me anything about what has recently happened to my babies over there in that home. I’m thinking he’s done something to the children and is using this as a time frame to give bruises time to heal. I’ve contacted many agencies, because at this point Dori is allowing the abuse and has been allowing it since she’s placed the kids with Thomas. Thomas Pegues name on google pops up with multiple drug charges, DWIs, and aggravated robbery charges, and she never studied his background, she just placed my children with a troubled man, who has issues with women. Dori is also letting Thomas run the show and I sent her messages of him threatening me recently and via texting from Karla Pegues phone saying “I’m in charge of these girls, I run things” . Dori never put Thomas Thomas in charge, she supposedly said she put a Karla Pegues in charge, over at that home. Thomas is only allowing the abuse that Dori is allowing him to cause. I never did anything to lose my children, she’s keeping my children away because Thomas has a large amount of money on his side. This is America. A mother can be a great mother without having thousands of dollars. I think it needs to be seen that she’s only letting these kids gets abused by this man, because his family has money. It’s highly unacceptable and disgusting. And it needs to be fixed now. Nomore waiting can be done, Thomas gets more angrier by the day, and the kids need out of the home with him PERMANENTLY. Dori does not have time for my children’s safety if even allowing the case to be moved into the county I now reside in. They’re using bully money tactics, and it’s no longer allowed. Corruption is ending, and people are being seen for whom they truly are. Dori can probably save the county some embarrassment if she allows Thomas to give me my children back quickly and in a hurry. Corruption does not last forever and money can’t hide the corrupters and abusers.  Let’s save these kids from people who are hurting them and put these people behind bars. My daughters and no other children deserve what they’re going through. It’s time to put this Thomas character behind bars, for always thinking he calls the shots and is above the law. He need helps and my daughters are needing help to be removed out of that home before it’s too late. I’ve been reporting the abuse since 2017, it’s time for me and my children to be taken serious.

Now because the judge doesn’t want to actually listen to the case and look at the proof I think we should move this case to a county that will listen to my outcries. Let’s petition for Sa’Journis case to be seen by a fair courthouse and judge!!!!
