HEB(temple tx-31st street) has had 2 employees test positive for covid and never once shut down for sanitation at all. Most of the store employees were not even informed until last minute. 4th of July is today & they are not counting people or enforcing social distancing. Their employees are surrounded by costumers(no distance involved) almost everyday & the store leads let it happen. There are days employees can't even move because of the amount of people in the store. Employees feel extremely unsafe & underappreciated. HEB says they care but they put their employees health at risk on the daily. Restaurants have closed down for atleast a day to fully sanitize & other business but HEB stays open & acts like nothing happened at all. As if no employee has gotten the virus. The mask may help but how much can they help when you have costumers literally touching you & reaching over you & in your faces at ALL times? They need to take better precautions to ensure the safety of their employees & costumers. That amount of people in one small area all at once is basically the same as everyone going to a bar together. It is unsafe, HEB NEEDS to go back to counting costumers & enforcing social distancing for the sake of the customers and employees especially.
