Why is it that a police officer can have multiple violations on their record and continue to carry a badge and walk the streets with authority? When someone violates traffic laws, whether drinking and driving or multiple other traffic violations, they lose their license. Isn't the safety and welfare of the public from those officers that continually violate their authority just as important, if not more so, than someone that habitually drives without a license?? 

Where is the importance of a human life when it comes to the 3% of police officers that give the rest a bad name? Why is it that one officer does something completely stupid, illegal, or abuses his/her authority and injuries or kills someone and yet he/she remains on the force, on the streets and carrying a badge? 

As long as this continues, there will be uprising and division of the people. We are not white, black or brown; we are PEOPLE and we ALL deserve the same respect, rights as well as to be held accountable for our actions! Policies need to change and they need to change NOW!
