Mine did, 10 years ago during a “routine” traffic stop, and my life has never been the same.

As a young black man, you hear the stories and get “The Talk”, but you never wake up one day expecting to find yourself staring down the barrel of an officer’s weapon for nothing more than an expired license plate.

Struggling to come to terms with my own fear and anxiety, I wondered...How and why does this still happen in America? My tragedy soon turned to inspiration, and I worked tirelessly over the next several years (and almost one hundred hours of police ride alongs) to create a solution.

That solution is Check.

My name is Michael Odiari and I am the Founder of a revolutionary technology designed to inject safety, trust, and accountability into routine traffic stops.

The best solutions provide value for both parties involved. We started by studying past and present solutions and used the knowledge to create a more comprehensive solution.
