An option for virtually attending school for the year 2021/2022
An option for virtually attending school for the year 2021/2022

This morning I wake to find my child not feeling well and showing symptoms of Covid I have three children to care for and they all attend school in Alief ISD there are no alternatives for people who fear their child being affected by COVID-19. I want to know why there are no options for school virtually? When I’m getting calls constantly from my children’s elementary, making me aware of current cases that have been confirmed positive. Since school has started I have received six phone calls from my children’s school. What is the solution for families with children attending school, when they are coming up sick almost every day? Or are we just gonna leave them there at risk, at chance? I do not feel the schools are practicing social distancing and I do not think that social distancing with children is possible especially children under the age of six. My child was not sick before attending school; my spouse nor I are sick, my other two children are now showing similar symptoms and it is hard for me to find locations for rapid testing that are free with available appointments in my time of immediate need!
Why isn’t their a mandatory quarantine, when Harris country threat level is severe?
Alief ISD is not the only district suffering from these same issues.
