The building of this transportation will obviously fulfill the need that affects more of the poverty-stricken areas of Texas. Public transportation will reduce the traffic congestion that affects big cities such as Houston. It is also better for the community because public transportation is healthier because it can help curb drunk driving. The environment is also benefitted as less fuel will be used when public transportation is used as an alternative. And public transit technology can be better equipped to transform to use renewable energy than it takes to turn consumer transportation into renewable energy.
