Do Not Add to the Traffic of Bell's Fork

The Stox family is "petitioning for a zoning request for property on Bell's Fork Road which, if approved, would change the property from agricultural-single residential zone to high density multi-family. The request was rejected by an 8-1 vote from the city's Planning and Zoning Commission and now will be presented to the city council for a vote on April 10th. The council has previously voted for rezoning over the vote of the Planning and Zoning Commission on other property.
The Woda Group, an Ohio based developing company, wants to build affordable housing consisting of approximately 70 - 75 multi-family units on that property." (Greenville's Daily Reflector 3-30-17)
We feel strongly that high density, multi-family housing will significantly impact the already dangerous traffic situation in the heavily used area from Bell's Fork Rd/Hwy 43 through the Bell's Fork intersection with Charles Blvd. Regardless of any future road expansions, we respectfully request the city's Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation be honored.
