The pattern of oppression, through the use of police force and control, against people of color is obvious and must be stopped.

As a child of Vietnamese immigrants, it makes me so sad that something like this happened to another Vietnamese person in America. Some of us have worked so hard and risked our lives to come to America and start a new life here. For this to have happened to Chieu Di Thi Vo, and many many other people of color, is just too cruel.

The Vo family deserves justice and the police must be held accountable for lying to the public.

I'm signing because there is a severe flaw in the judicial processing and confrontation of POC and this is the least I can do to bring about attention to incidences like Chieu Di Thi Vo's. Also, to focus on the current issue, because her family had to go through two years of being withheld information for two years, and that's not cool.

She didn't have to be shot 5x...the police officer was the one approached her...she was walking down her path before he approached her..she didn't approach him...she didn't even acknowledge his present.
