Greenbrier County schools to go remote, Governor Jim Justice!

Greenbrier County schools to go remote, Governor Jim Justice!
Why this petition matters

Greenbrier County schools should be closed or remote until after the New Year, or until the cases decrease and it is safe to return to in person education. The color coded map is unreliable as there is such a high number of individuals being tested for work and testing negative that the results are skewed in our percent positive daily rate compared to our active cases. By sending our students to school, you should understand the concerns of your community parents and teachers, and until the government and leadership can come up with a factual and reliable method to determine these factors instead of business benefiting tables endangering our family members and children. Unless of course, if no one is in danger, to which point we should have some factual basis. Cases are increasing with community transmission and putting our students, teachers, and service personnel at risk as well as other individuals in the community. There is enough technology and other means of educating available that students can still receive a quality education at home while keeping themselves, teachers, and their families safe. Many concerned parents aren't wanting to commit to the irreversible next 3 months of choosing remote for their child(ren). Would it be too much to ask to close school or go strictly remote, during the next few weeks, for the sake of not endangering our teachers and staff, (who also have families and children they've kept home, but have no choice other than work)
So if you feel we are not in the same position as other counties, or other municipalities, but being fed data to move particular business efforts forward instead of protecting the community then please sign...
