per phone conversation today with Green Lawn Cemetery they have had rules for 178 years they just didn't enforce them until new owner bought cemetery.  So many of us who have been going to visit our loved once went to visit only to see that all our memories and decorations were taken and dumped.  Sorry about your luck if you didn't get an email after all these years.  They took my 9 month old twin grandsons angels and decorations that were on his monument that was purchased through Green Lawn cemetery May of 2014 for 8k.  A cemetery is the last place you witness and see your loved one placed and is the one place we go to talk or sing or just meditate remembering memories.  What a shock to so many of us who do still take the time to go and decorate because that is all we can do once our loved one has passed.  There is no more celebrating with them around a Christmas tree, a big thanksgiving dinner or birthday cake and family celebrating another year with them. Made me sick that these new owners even did a Halloween theme with vendors where our love ones lay.  Morbid more like it if you don't want our family decorations on their graves. If no one after 178 didn't enforced removal of personal decorations then why start now with families that have multiple generations placed there now..  all I know is no compassion when I called and verbally spoke to a man.  STOP THE REMOVAL OF OUR DECORATION AND MEMORIES TO OUR FAMILIES!!!
