Show Mercy to Miserable Tar Heels

The time to show mercy has finally come.
They say that the Duke - Carolina rivalry is one of the greatest in all of college basketball, perhaps in all of sports. But lately, our friends down Tobacco Road haven’t been quite up to snuff.
They weren’t able to beat our championship-winning team either in Durham or in Chapel Hill last year. That’s understandable: Duke won the national title! Obviously UNC wouldn’t have been able to top us. But the problem is, that including this season, Carolina has lost four in a row to us :(. They’ve also dropped six of the last seven. What gives? Even in a year where they entered the season ranked number one, they couldn’t beat a mostly-freshmen Duke team despite the fact that two of our three captains were injured and the third played with four fouls for the final 10:55.
Grayson, don’t get us wrong. We love how you’re always in attack-mode and can basically score at will, especially against crappy defenses like UNC’s. But with Duke now dominating the rivalry on a regular basis, we feel bad for them.
We also feel bad because Carolina struggles to be original at times. Two weeks after we released a undercover video that went viral, three journalism students attempted to replicate our success. Sports Illustrated summed it up nicely, saying they "failed miserably."
We can't help but feel some level of pity for Chapel Hill, both on and off the court, and that's why we've created this petition. All that we ask is that is you embrace a spirit of charity and generosity.
Grayson, don’t score more than 50 points against UNC this Saturday. Tar Heels have already had to suffer through so much these last few seasons. We know you're more than capable, but just beating them is enough. No need to rub it in.
Show UNC the mercy and compassion that they desperately need. Stand with us in solidarity.
