Greetings ,
This is regarding the decision of the university to continue with offline exams despite of the exponential increase in covid cases through out the nation.
This is to bring to your notice that students will be travelling from places like Delhi and Maharashtra where there is a hike in covid cases in the past month. Students are getting their test done before they travel or just after reaching Dehradun but if they come in contact with the virus while travelling, it is undetected for the next 14 days and the student can serve as the carrier for many students and staff.
Also despite of having an option for attending the offline classes by the universities ,few teachers are forcing the students to attend the classes offline and demotivating them for the exams.
We all have dealt with a world pandemic in the last one year and all of us are not emotionally ready for this demotivation or this sudden pressure to give exams.
Teachers are posting 8-9 videos in a bulk at the same time to finish the syllabus for the mid term. This is not acceptable as it becomes very difficult for us to balance all the subjects and our health.
We would like to request you to look into this matter and take an action at the earliest .
Regards,
Student
