Reopen and keep Thornbury high street open

At 2,500 signatures, this petition is more likely to get picked up by local news!

Thornbury high st has been closed for "covid" reasons, according to the local council. The Shops are struggling, old  and disabled people can no longer access the High St.

Covid was a false pretence, they willingly held a street market, that was manned by  all Welsh sellers, when Wales was at a peak with covid, and should not of been brought into our town.

They want the pubs to fill the high street, and give the continental feel - we are in the UK for gods sake - lucky to get 6 weeks of sunshine a year.

The town is dead, and we have to make it alive again

The traffic is now at dangerous levels in different parts of the town now. to try and   get out of Streamleaze at the junction is a risky business. By the roundabouts on Midland way is also a dangerous place at peak times,

This will be signed by all local people who really care about our Town.
