Pedestrian lights are not long enough for disabled people or those with young children to cross the road. This puts people's lives at risk as they are often still crossing the road when the lights change back. It should be mandatory for all pedestrian lights to be green for a minimum period of time to enable all people to cross including the disabled and vulnerable. 

We have watched people attempting to cross the roads and cars revving their engines to go as the lights have changed but the disabled person was still on the road. This makes the streets unsafe for disabled people.
