Grant Rosebud PZ87 Memorial Gardens Local Nature Reserve Status.

Grant Rosebud PZ87 Memorial Gardens Local Nature Reserve Status.
Following the act of tree vandalism that took place at Rosebud PZ87 Memorial Gardens, Newlyn, on Sunday the 24th of April 2022, we are calling on Cornwall Council to grant the gardens "Local Nature Reserve" Status, in recognition of our two years of work as "Friends of Rosebud PZ87 Memorial Gardens & Bowjey Woods" which has involved tireless and extensive work towards making the gardens wildlife friendly. We would like this work to be protected by the granting of Local Nature Reserve status to the gardens.
According to gov.uk. "Local authorities can create local nature reserves (LNRs). Town and parish councils can create LNRs if the district council has given them the power to do this. The local authority must control the LNR land - either through ownership, a lease or an agreement with the owner."
