Grant pay increases for Heath care workers

Grant pay increases for Heath care workers
Why this petition matters

I am a certified medical assistant with 23 plus years of experience and our local area of Mohave County Arizona is not keeping up with rising costs of living and inflation. These are things out of our control. The hospitals and the clinics should raise their wages accordingly. We are here working with the public day and day out. We are on the frontlines just as much as an RN, LPN or any other medical/clinical personnel and should be paid accordingly. We have all been impacted in some form or another by the rising costs of inflation. Some have lost jobs, homes, vehicles and quality of life has even been effected. Some of us struggle to make ends meet on the pay scale we are on.
If we can get this petition signed maybe these hospitals will increase their wages. One of three hospitals are not for profits, one is corporate owned and one is primarily physician owned. Kingman Regional Medical Center is not for profit and their board has to approve their changes in wages. Western Arizona Regional Medical Center is corporately owned by Community Heath Sysytems out of Tennessee, which means their wages are based off Tennessee rates not Arizona. This would have to through corporate. Lake Havasu Regional Medical Center is primarily owned/backed by physician investors. Havasu would have to go through their board of directors/physicians for approval as well.
