We're proud to announce that today at the All Faculty meeting the New Grading System was passed by a Massive Majority! 

Within less than two weeks, all 2,143 students, parents, and faculty have advocated for a NEW grading system for Spring 2020. 

We all did this as a student & faculty coalition and this serves as proof that students' voices DO MATTER!

Admin will explain in further detail the specifics of this New Grading System very soon. 

The new system will be Student Opt-In and a Pass/Pass with D/Fail structure. Meaning C- and above would be a Pass, D- to D+ would be Pass with D, F would be Fail. 

Unfortunately, the faculty wouldn't consider the automatic 10 to 15 percent since every Professor's syllabus is considered a contract between the Students and the Professor. We do encourage everyone to raise this concern with your individual professors. 

Overall, thank you and we hope this brings security and justice to the students of Rollins College! And, we'll declare Victory on the Petition once the official email is received from Administration.
