Many families use the bus for all daily running around. Weekly trips to the grocery store, getting to the baby sitter before heading to work and everything in-between. We use the GRT as our main source of transportation. Now that my daughter is 5 she needs to pay for the bus. When looking into bus passes or family passes there is nothing for elementary student's. They pay the same amount as a high school student. I think this is wonky. I feel kids that are still at an age they need to be with parents should pay a different price if not free. How many others are in the same boat as my wee family and would like to see change? Knowledge is power and power can make a change.
I did see the Go has free for kids under 12. Perhaps this could be a new standard for the GRT. :)
