Increase the reward/s for the Frankston & Tynong North unsolved murders to $1 Million

An urgent increase is required of the rewards currently available for the unsolved murders of 6 females (Operation Lyndhurst) in Melbourne in the early 1980's.

It has been 35 years since the apparently linked murders of Alison, Bertha, Catherine (14 years old), Ann Marie, Narumol and Joy, and someone knows who is responsible.

A substantial increase in the reward/s, has the potential to encourage information and new leads, and thereby enable the progression of the investigation.

The community needs reassurrance and confidence that every possible attempt has been made, including the offering of substantial reward/s. It is suggested that at least $1 Million should be made available, an increase from the current $50,000 reward for Alison Rooke (29.1.81), and believed to be similarly applicable to the other victims. This increased amount reflects comparable rewards available for other high profile unsolved cases (Bung Siriboon and the Beaumont children) as well as a recently solved case (Daniel Morcombe, aged 13).

Higher reward/s being made available, is relevant for the families and friends of the victims, but also to the wider community, who live with many questions about what actually happened to these females, and who is responsible?

Chief Commissioner Ashton please increase the reward/s.
