Keeping Harness racing in regional areas

We are trying to keep Race meets in Regional areas instead of allocating to the City areas, causing disadvantages to regional members.
RWWA are trying to allocate the bulk of the racing meets from Bunbury and placing them in Gloucester Park & Pinjarra Harness Clubs. This will dramatically increase the cost of travel and time to trainers from outside these areas, it also points to a very unfair balance in favour of these clubs.
Bunbury Trotting club is a premier racing facility for harness racing paticipants from all around area, therefore we say that the stake money should not be reduced for meetings held at the Bunbury Trotting Club. We also believe Bunbury should be given more racing on either Monday, Tuesday or Thursdays as these are proven to provide greater off course betting.
We as Trainers, Drivers, Owners & Breeders would be willing to race at Bunbury 52 weeks a year and request that RWWA allocates a fairer number of meetings to the Bunbury Trotting Club.
