There is a serious issue plaguing our public schools, it involves the mistreatment and assumption making of public school staff when it comes to zero tolerance and their ability to proper discipline students in an ethical manner. Administrators to simply put it, see something they consider to be against the rules without even consulting the alleged perpetrator if they are innocent. This idea can be directly related to the united states constitutional amendments that dictate that each individual is innocent until proven guilty. These amendments were put in place to prevent a authoritarian government from assuming control by using accusations to wrongly imprison people that opposed them.
