Students at EMS are hard working devoted students. Midterms are just another test that adds on stress into our lives. More and more students each year struggle from mental health challenges and this just puts more on them. It is proven that students don’t always perform there very best in tests and quizzes anyways so having a bug grade like this doesn’t actually show how smart and talented they are. Our goal is to have enough signatures to cancel midterms this year 2022. Lots of students have outside of school activities such as sports, musical instrument rehearsal and many more things that we have to focus on as well as this.   Studying and preparing for these huge tests take lots of time that students don’t always have, aswell as this it adds on more anxiety to do well on the test  . Because of covid most students haven’t had any major tests that were more important to the future, instead we have mini quizzes and small unit tests multiple times a month in different subjects. Having midterms as over an 100 point test means that all of the other hard assignments we have been working on don’t really matter anymore. Please share this to as many people as possible and get them to sign it.
