Saad Masood started this petition to govt of pakistan

I am an Overseas Pakistani, Along with many other Overseas Pakistanis and Pakistanis in Pakistan, I am Compelled to write this Petition after Pursuing All Means Possible through Twitter @FlyingAceee, Filing a Complaint on Citizen's Portal & Sending Multiple E-Mails to the Presidency & PM of Pakistan Office.

My Issue is Regarding the Curtailment of Inbound Flights to Pakistan that was Announced in May by NCOC Headed by Asad Umer in which the decision was taken was to Reduce the IB Flights to 20% of Summer Schedule 2021, at that time, it was in your wise decision making a sensible approach and We Supported it, but its June 2021 & this Curtailment has prolonged to an extent that it now sounds Stupid. As we read the news every day, NCOC has open Domestic Tourism, Given Businesses More incentives to run their business, all this while "Criminalizing" US Overseas Pakistanis, I believe, this is Highly unfair to the US, and as matter of fact, whoever is advising you to prolong this curtailment is doing more harm to Aviation Industry in Pakistan.

You will be well aware by now that the World is Opening its borders to Fully Vaccinated People, Airlines in the United States have gone back to Pre Pandemic Levels in terms of Seat Capacity, moreover, the EU is coming back online as well. This said, Airlines that are currently flying into Pakistan are cancelling flights, in return People who want to fly into Pakistan or out of Pakistan are struggling to travel, The Fares have gone up 3 times more and there is no check by the Regulator PCAA. I understand you have a job to do, but it makes zero sense to curtail the flights and let businesses open in Pakistan, Domestic Tourism to revive.
Air Travel is a Necessity, A Global Connection to Connect Cultures, Businesses, Tourism, and You have simply cut this connection without proper due diligence.

My background is from Aviation, I am an FAA Airman, EASA ATPL Holder working for an Airline in Eastern Europe, Part of Safety Management Group EASA Eastern European Division, and I Can say for certain, there is clearly a disconnect when it comes to Aviation Representation at NCOC Meeting.

I am hopeful, You will take much more thought provoked decisions that would be fair to US Overseas Pakistanis.

Kind Regards,
