Stop Celebrations of Victories under the British
This petition had 23 supporters
In parts of India and in Indian Army, victories achieved under the British rule (such as Battle of Koregaon 01 Jan 1814) , either against fellow Indians or on Foreign soil, are celebrated each year as Battle Honour Day.It is felt that such celebration reflect a SLAVE mentality and is dividing the nation on caste/ warrior class category.
This petition seeks intervention of Govt of India to immediately stop celebrations by Indians or Indian Army, of victories achieved under British Rule.
